Honors Geometry is for advanced learners who have already completed Honors Algebra in middle school or during their first year in high school and wish to place into more advanced classes or to be prepared for an honors level math class in high school. Recent high school graduates and college students are welcome to take the course if they wish to polish their math skills and place into more advanced courses in college.

This logic-based geometry course, covers concepts typically offered in a full-year honors geometry course. To supplement the lessons from class sessions, videos, online interactive’s, assessments and projects provide students an opportunity to develop mathematical reasoning, critical thinking skills, and problem solving techniques to investigate and explore geometry. Students are also introduced to a dynamic software tool, through projects that they create. Additionally, students are invited to participate and seek extra help in our Tutoring Arena during scheduled sessions guided by our assistant course instructors.
